2/6/2023 Keldon Johnson, SAS, F
Johnson (left ankle soreness) is questionable to play Monday at Chicago.

Analysis: Johnson, who has scored 18 points in each of his last two games after averaging 30 in each of San Antonio's previous two contests, took part in Monday's shootaround, so that is encouraging news.
2/6/2023 Jaylen Brown, BOS, G-F
Brown won't play in Monday's game at Detroit because of an illness.

Analysis: This is unfortunate news for fantasy owners. Expect Jayson Tatum to carry more of the offensive load, while Malcolm Brogdon and Payton Pritchard likely see more minutes.
2/5/2023 Jalen Suggs, ORL, G
Suggs will not play Sunday at Charlotte after being suspended one game for his role in an on-court altercation between the Magic and Timberwolves on Friday.

Analysis: Markelle Fultz and Cole Anthony will likely soak up Suggs' minutes Sunday.
2/5/2023 Dillon Brooks, MEM, G-F
Brooks will not play Sunday against Toronto after being suspended one game for his role in an on-court incident between the Grizzlies and Cavaliers on Thursday.

Analysis: John Konchar and Ziaire Williams will probably see more time on the court Sunday.
2/5/2023 Jamal Murray, DEN, G
Murray (left knee injury management) won't play in Sunday's game at Minnesota.

Analysis: Murray played 36 minutes in Saturday night's win over the Hawks, finishing with 41 points, seven assists and five rebounds, so it's not a surprise he is given the day off in the second half of this back-to-back.
2/5/2023 Nikola Jokic, DEN, C
Jokic (left hamstring tightness) won't play in Sunday's game at Minnesota.

Analysis: Jokic sat out three games in late January due to an ailing left hamstring, so it's not a surprise the Nuggets have decided to sit him in the second half of this back-to-back after he played 34 minutes in Saturday's win over the Hawks.
2/5/2023 Aaron Gordon, DEN, F
Gordon (left ankle sprain) won't play in Sunday's game at Minnesota.

Analysis: Gordon sat out Thursday's win over the Warriors due to an ankle sprain before returning to play 30 minutes in Saturday's win over the Hawks. With the Nuggets opting to give him the day off in the second half of this back-to-back, Vlatko Cancar will likely move into the starting lineup. Cancar made his second career start Thursday and finished with a season-high 17 points and three boards in 32 minutes.
2/5/2023 Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, DEN, G-F
Caldwell-Pope (right ankle sprain) won't play in Sunday's game at Minnesota.

Analysis: Caldwell-Pope left Saturday's win over the Hawks in the second quarter after spraining his ankle, and is getting the day off to rest in the second half of this back-to-back. Christian Braun stepped up after Caldwell-Pope was injured against Atlanta, finishing with 10 points and seven rebounds in 32 minutes, and could get the start with Caldwell-Pope out.
2/5/2023 Jonas Valanciunas, NOP, C
Valanciunas (right knee) won't play in the Pelicans' game against the Kings on Sunday.

Analysis: Valanciunas left Saturday's win over the Lakers late in the third quarter with a right knee injury and did not return. He finished with 18 points and 14 rebounds in just 24 minutes. Larry Nance Jr. will likely get the start with Valanciunas out against the Kings.
2/5/2023 Brandon Ingram, NOP, F
Ingram (left toe injury management) won't play in Sunday's game against the Kings in the second half of a back-to-back.

Analysis: Ingram just returned to the lineup less than two weeks ago after being sidelined for two months because of a sprained left toe so is receiving a night off a day after finishing with 35 points, five rebounds and four assists in 32 minutes in a win over the Lakers. Naji Marshall will likely get the start against the Kings.
