He threw three interceptions, didn't fumble and was sacked four times. Hogan added 36 rushing yards on five carries.
Analysis: The Texans, even without J.J. Watt and Whitney Mercilus, harassed Hogan into a miserable debut as a starter. Hogan replaced DeShone Kizer as the starter, but it's unclear if he will get another turn next week. Whoever starts for the Browns is someone to avoid using in fantasy for the foreseeable future.

Hogan, 24, will make the first start of his career over Kizer, who was benched after halftime in last Sunday's 17-14 loss to the New York Jets.
Analysis: The Browns' offense played better with Hogan under center in the second half against the Jets, scoring 14 points and gaining 244 total yards. With Kizer at quarterback in the game, Cleveland had 175 total yards and two red-zone turnovers as he completed 8 of 17 for 87 yards with an interception.

He threw one interception, didn't fumble and was not sacked. Hogan added 30 rushing yards on four carries.
Analysis: Hogan replaced an ineffective DeShone Kizer after the Browns trailed 3-0 at the break. The QB switch was startling since coach Hue Jackson had given his unconditional support to Kizer, promising to stick with him no matter what happened this season. Jackson's conclusion to bench an ineffective Kizer for Kevin Hogan was the right move. Hogan threw two touchdown passes to pull the Browns within 17-14.
